Between Myself and Treasure
I sometimes write from an existential, even spiritual place—where words find me, an ease and a flow that is indescribable. The moment itself becomes poetic. Treasured Presence is one of those poems.
Grounded in a moment between versions of myself where the ache of staying stagnant outweighed the temporary ache of letting go, and being met authentically—something worth waiting for.
This is a poem to simply sit with—
like a treasure waiting to be found
again, with new eyes…
Treasured Presence
In between myself—
whispering through magnifying glass,
for those in between themselves.
Morsels of light scattered in the void,
restoring—
like the patience of treasures,
only unearthed by identical presence.
